Had a sudden urge to play what I would call Myst like(ish) puzzle games, I'm focusing on the free roaming adventure ones mostly but do have some more traditional ones as well. Idk, thought I would blog about it.

Sunday, 22 May 2022 13:30Good morning, it's getting cold and because of it I've been sleeping for longer than I want to, they are reprising Everybody Hates Chris on TV and it makes me feel nostalgic. I've been fighting for motivation to do things but lacking inspiration or initiative.
Outside of that I just recently played all of the Halo MCC games and I'm reading the books (still in the first book), they are tons of fun (I keep reading it with "ship battles" etc ambiance in the background), and though I had heard it has an interesting lore it still took me by surprise, to a character that is supposed to be a silent self-insert in the games John is a good character and it's cool to see it through his lens. Confession: I didn't finish CE because Keyes kept dying in the room where there were the invisible Elites then a cutscene, but the game just saved before getting into the room and I had to watch the cutscene and then the "The commander is dead, UNSC can't go without him!" over and over, so I rage quit and went to download Halo 2.
I'll try again some other time, right now I'm Playing Titanfall II, and though not as invested in the world, I love BT and how he interacts with "us"(Cooper), him talking with the commandant like "pls, can I keep Cooper as a pilot" like Cooper is a pup that followed him home as he holds Cooper up in one hand. Aside from the gameplay, which is pretty fun, they are what keep me playing. It's just annoying that to play Titanfall I had to download and make an ACC in Origin, I left Origin behind for a reason.
Dead By Daylight is one of those games I love watching others play but won't like to play it myself. All the characters and theme looks really fun and unironically like the theme of giving characters different thematic skins and what not. BUT I'm SO bad at multiplayer games and it's even worse that these games tend to have people who get really infuriated with "n00bs" or whatever.
//I'll just get back at playing FoC multi when I get my ps3, the hackers must have get out from there I hope. //In other news, I opened my origim to play some Sim's just to have a mini heart-attack when I didn't see any, but their servers are just down, god that would suck I wasted more money on the sim's4 that I'm any proud to admit, it's not even the best in the franchise.

I'll link to her BIO (but I'll be honest she is the most stereotypical character I ever made..), I made her to a specific role-play with other user, his character is a bandit sick of killing and stealing and wanted to make the opposite of that, a bandit happy to steal. +I tend to make very passive ocs so... ((also, she doesn't have anything with 'Deeja', I was just looking at quotes to use and though it was ironic since it was a fitting quote too!))

I got Ruiner yesterday on Steam sale! I still have Doom, Soma and Titanfall 2 to finish but it looked way too cool to pass. Very in love with the main guy before even playing it, not to expose myself but faceless robot looking character got it lol I'll try the game out soon!

Been really bored and uninspired the past few months so I've been wasting my time on games (as I do), what made me remember of my favorite Steam game that I hear pretty little about called Everspace.
Now, not to say the game has game-breaking mechanics, most of it is exploring sectors and gathering resources that will help you better your ship and help you progress even further in the game (what will get you more story that I think is... mew), I would I say the die and continue from the beginning gameplay can make it pretty tiring and repetitive, but the flight around in space setting is just such an indulgent joy I can't explain.
That's it really... just trying to post more so I'll start by mentioning things I like, also, Endless sky is pretty good if you also like the space aesthetic, very different from Everspace though since it's actually a text adventure RPG instead (a game I have to finish).
