My journal could use a new Theme and a general makeover but have been too lazy to put my time into anything even when they are hobbies, barely finished stuff I need to finish anyway. I guess all I need is a kick-start motivator!

The good news is... I'm rewatching Voltron and want to already go and start watching everything I wanted to (re)watch and have at least forcing myself to watch classes more attentively, so there's hope yet!

Stumbled with Wreck-It Ralph on TV and remembered how much I love it and the characters. All the time I see a little bit of the movie, I go through 2 or more weeks doodling stuff for it. Because of that, decided to finally watch WIR 2, I was in the fandom when it came out in 2018 but everyone was talking so much about how they disliked it I felt discouraged, I do it a lot when people tell me something I really love may have a bad ending, did it for Lost Light and Voltron too, but maybe it was good this time because I was able to have my own conclusions.

And… it was fine, I mean, I think I agree with the fandom, it did the characters dirt, both old and new ones, and it was 75% promotional material for Disney with 10% for online sites and etc and even the story they had felt very bland and slight ooc? But at same time it wasn't a bad movie, you can see that despite being probably obligated to be a advertisement for Disney there was actual love and talent into it, they represented the internet in a fun way and it had a lot of fun moments even when they were blatantly advertisement, but it's just too obvious especially when you see how the references are handled in the first movie with the videogame characters.

Anyway, what I mean is that it's worth a lazy watch but not much a rewatch like the 1st is (that I already feel like rewatching). Still, WIR is my obsessing material for the moment and I'm doodling and thinking of the characters a lot on paper, I really want to see the art book, my computer is ready and I'm going to see if I can take some pictures and clean everything when I get it back. Maybe I'll watch something else tonight or during the day, sudden mood for 80's/90's cartoons or just anything animated.

My computer really is just fuckin messing with me, now it's saying it can't find a boot up device and going to f2 show it don't detect any hdd, I'll have to get it back to see what's the problem now. To be fair, I had it for 3/4 years, but it isin't a good time to invest in a new computer :/

I would check in the hardware myself but I'm too insecure in handling it with my own hands and messing up. c'mon old man I need u right now 👴💻😖💦

Upd8: Just got back! Aperently the hdd really was the problem, how I said my pc is good but not new and it still used hdd in disk, it's not in the world of living anymore though r.i.p. how I said^2, not the time to invest in a new one so we saw with them a new hdd that is more modern, not as strong as the one I had but sufficient. Hoppefully I'll get a better computer when this is over.

 I'll be honest, I'm not doing anything I said I would do. My brain is just mashed potatoes at the moment and all I have energy for is to play minecraft or watch stuff.

Yestaday I finished watching "holidays" at Netflix, it was pretty fun, the 'Easter' and 'New Year'  are in the favorite shorts. Netflix recommended a series called "Scream", thinking wether I should watch it or not since I'm in a weird horror/slasher mood, but want to watch "Candyman" tonight.

While looking for things, I found something that I had nearly forgot about but that I'm sure is what was my first contact with random and fan content, NeoTokyo 54 and 72.




NeoTokyo was a Brazilian anime and manga magazine I used to love that ran from 2006 to 2017, I have a bunch of them well kept at my mom's house, but finding two hidden ones at my dad's brought me a lot of memories. It had amazing and variable content and they really know how to bring their public together.

I say it was one of my first contact with fandom because they had a lot of fan content that probably inspired me, they didn't had only reviews but they also had a place for fan art and cosplay, original made short mangas and written novels, fan comments and also little random snipits like, how to draw, japonese lessons and lyrics translation. They also had double posters that I used to collect (even if I didn't know where it was from) that my mom really disliked because of how it looked in my wall.

Apparently, it was discontinued in 2017, not surprising since the anime frenzy of the 2000's had already passed by that point, I still have much to thank them for. Here some random pics so people can check them out, it's all in Portuguese though.

We started having online classes today, it's impossible to concentrate and I was only able to access it though my cellphone where it was really hard to see the code the teacher was giving. It was suppose to work in the pc but their site doesn't work as usual.

My computer decides to sundelly die without any warning and now I can't get it to turn on anymore so I won't even be able to do the homework (though we have until the start of the actual classes, which is undefined.) or any actual good writing and digital drawings or edits to chill out. As well as having the most awful mood, I just can't stop thinking about, mostly personal, stuff and it's dragging me down to some dark places.

Maybe I'll read or watch some horror, maybe something almost goofy? was meaning to anyway and maybe I'll feel a little better. Brighty happy stuff just don't really get me anywhere when I'm like this.

Just some doodles that are more interesting to look at than my colorless line-art. I need to practice more rendering painting, they are fun.

1-M14 OC 2-random robot and the rest is Aperture Tag (a Portal 2 mod) characters that I'm very found of 🍊.

With faculty suspended until indeterminate time, they have been giving us homework, the thing is, they gave us little to no material to really study and what they did give us is just feels messy. or at least I'm completely lost, don't help that we swapped 3d modeling programs that work pretty differently.

I'll have to relearn the program myself, but I've been at my fathers home and he is getting impatient of my time online, even when I tell him I have stuff to do and it's a bit frustrating. (to be fair, I also need to learn how to manage the time I have now...)

I'll link to her BIO (but I'll be honest she is the most stereotypical character I ever made..), I made her to a specific role-play with other user, his character is a bandit sick of killing and stealing and wanted to make the opposite of that, a bandit happy to steal. +I tend to make very passive ocs so... ((also, she doesn't have anything with 'Deeja', I was just looking at quotes to use and though it was ironic since it was a fitting quote too!))

I got Ruiner yesterday on Steam sale! I still have Doom, Soma and Titanfall 2 to finish but it looked way too cool to pass. Very in love with the main guy before even playing it, not to expose myself but faceless robot looking character got it lol I'll try the game out soon!
